The drive itself presents scenic views of the mountainous landscapes and quaint villages scattered along the highways. If you have time, consider exploring beyond the bridge and old town. The nearby Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque offers panoramic rooftop views of the bridge and river. Additionally, walking along the riverbanks shows you the tranquil side of Mostar, where locals picnic or fish quietly away from the bustling tourist spots. In my travels, Mostar stood out not only for its picturesque scenery but also for its resilience and cultural harmony. The rebuilt bridge symbolizes the town’s recovery and unity following a turbulent history.
