Hey everyone! I’m so excited to share my ultimate soft glam makeup routine with you all. As a Black girl, finding products and techniques that truly make my skin glow without looking ashy or overdone has been a journey, but I've finally perfected a look that feels both glamorous and natural. This isn't just a list of products; it's my personal step-by-step guide to achieving that coveted soft glam, perfect for any occasion when you want to feel confident and radiant. First things first, skin prep is crucial for any full glam makeup look. I always start with a good primer like the elf Power Grip. It creates the perfect base, ensuring my makeup lasts all day without creasing or sliding, which is especially important for a seamless finish on deeper skin tones. After a solid base, I move onto foundation. I've found a perfect match with Estée Lauder's 5N2 Amber Honey. The key here is to apply just enough for coverage without masking your natural skin, blending meticulously for an undetectable finish. For my eyebrows, I rely on Benefit Cosmetics in color 5 – a shade that perfectly defines without being too harsh. Now for the eyes! This is where soft glam truly shines. I start with the PLOUISE White Eye Base in Rumour 0 to make my eyeshadows pop vibrantly. Then, I dive into Juvia’s Place The Warrior 2 palette. Their pigments are incredible for Black skin, offering rich, true-to-pan colors that blend like a dream. For a soft glam eye, I focus on warm, neutral tones, building depth in the crease and adding a subtle shimmer to the lid. The aim is definition and allure, not overly dramatic. Next up is contour and blush to sculpt and add dimension. I use Morphe Cosmetics' Glamabronze Phenom for a natural contour, carefully placing it to enhance my features. For blush, elfcosmetics' Coral Crush liquid blush gives a healthy, natural flush, which I sometimes layer with a powder blush from their Light palette for extra staying power and a diffused finish. This combination ensures my cheeks have a beautiful, soft tint. To add that perfect touch of radiance, I apply tarte cosmetics Highlighter in 38N to the high points of my face – cheekbones, brow bone, and cupid's bow – for a luminous glow that catches the light beautifully. Achieving a radiant glow is a must for my makeup HOUR. Finally, setting everything in place is non-negotiable for a long-lasting soft glam. I use ONE SIZE BEAUTY Setting Powder in Sweet Honey to lock in my base and prevent shine, especially in my T-zone. A quick mist of Morphe's setting spray melts all the powders together, giving that seamless, skin-like finish. To complete the look, a touch of lip oil adds hydration and a subtle sheen, keeping the focus on those beautifully done eyes and glowing skin. This entire GRWM makeup routine ensures I’m ready for anything, feeling confident and radiant. I hope these tips help you achieve your perfect soft glam look too!
