Your Worth is NOT Up For Debate 🌸
Some of us were taught to earn rest, earn love, earn softness, earn approval.
So we started shrinking ourselves trying to become “deserving” of things God already said we could have.
But healing changes your standards.
You stop begging for crumbs. You stop apologizing for needing peace. You stop treating yourself like a burden. And little by little, you begin receiving good things without guilt attached to them. 🙏🏽
From my personal journey, I've realized that truly embracing your worth isn’t about earning approval or constantly proving yourself. It’s about recognizing that your value was placed in you from the very beginning, regardless of your past or mistakes. This shift changed how I approach life and relationships. I used to think I had to ‘earn’ things like love, rest, and peace by being perfect or constantly giving. But once I started healing, I noticed that my standards elevated naturally—I no longer accepted crumbs or tolerated situations that made me feel small. Instead, I began gearing my life towards receiving abundance in all forms. One impactful practice is affirming your worth daily, reminding yourself that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, just as Psalm 139:14 says. This helped me break free from guilt when receiving kindness, joy, or opportunities. Allowing yourself to want more and accept good things without hesitation also shifts your choices. When you believe you deserve peace and joy, you start preparing for those blessings instead of doubting them. Healing rewires your mindset from scarcity and unworthiness to alignment with your divine design. It’s a process of unlearning old teachings about earning worth and embracing that worth is a sacred gift, not a debate. And the moment you start living from that perspective, life starts to open up in beautiful ways.
