Products You DON’T Recommend

Sephora Sale is on what products DON’T you recommend?

My Top 3: Tower28 SOS Spray- IMO overpriced- e11ment brand is $25 for a Liter vs $68 and the ingredients are the same 😉

Brands that aren’t shade inclusive- it’s 2024 brands not putting in even minimal effort to release a wider or even equal shade range distribution is BS…it shows that POC are an afterthought to your brand and the excuses 🙄🤬

... Read moreWhen shopping for beauty products, it’s essential to make informed choices. Many consumers are drawn to high-profile brands like Tower28 due to their marketing and aesthetic appeal; however, price does not always equate to value. For instance, the Tower28 SOS Spray is priced at $68, which many consumers feel is exorbitant compared to similar products like e11ment, which offers a liter for only $25. This suggests a discrepancy in value that savvy shoppers should be aware of. Furthermore, the issue of shade inclusivity in the beauty industry remains a significant concern. In 2024, brands that continue to offer limited shade ranges not only alienate potential customers but also risk being viewed as indifferent towards diverse skin tones. This lack of effort reflects poorly on brands that fail to adapt to the growing demand for inclusivity. It’s crucial to support brands that prioritize diversity and demonstrate genuine effort in expanding their product lines to cater to all consumers. By highlighting these issues, consumers can make more conscious purchasing decisions during sales events like Sephora's, avoiding products that might not meet their expectations or ethical standards.

Mad Hippy. A friend raved about the brand-my skin was not impressed.
