Add in the endless scrutiny over how we look, how we speak, how we “balance” life and the pressure to be perfect at everything? It’s exhausting. Don’t even get me started on the double standards: men get praised for “helping out” with chores, while we’re shamed if we don’t do it all flawlessly.
Some days, I catch myself daydreaming what if I could hit reset and be a man? Would life feel lighter? Less like a constant battle to prove ourselves? So if you had the choice, would you stick with your current gender?
