Are We Truly Alone in the Universe?

2/14 Edited to

... Read moreLooking up at the night sky has always sparked a sense of wonder and curiosity within me. The statistic that our galaxy alone houses over 100 billion stars is staggering, but when you think that there are hundreds of billions of galaxies beyond ours, the sheer scale becomes almost incomprehensible. Each of these stars could have rocky planets, some possibly similar to Earth, and some orbiting in the goldilocks zone where conditions might allow liquid water—the essential ingredient for life as we know it. From my experience reading about ongoing scientific discoveries, it's fascinating to learn how astronomers use powerful telescopes to identify exoplanets that might be habitable. The idea that entire civilizations could be existing somewhere out there—some possibly thousands of years ahead of us in technological advancement, others just beginning to explore fire and ask questions—adds a profound philosophical layer to our place in the cosmos. What resonates with me the most is the thought that while we peer into space searching for signs of life, perhaps life is also looking back at us. The universe seems less like a lonely expanse and more like an interconnected cosmic community, even if that connection is hidden across vast distances. This perspective fosters a feeling that we're not just isolated observers but active participants in a much larger mystery, one that speaks to our innate human desire to belong and understand our origins. Thinking about this has enriched my appreciation for both science and imagination, encouraging me to stay curious and optimistic about what we might discover next. Whether we ultimately find direct proof of extraterrestrial life or not, the journey of exploration itself expands our understanding and unites us in wonder beneath the shared stars.

🍃 Learn to Be Alone (and actually love it)
There’s a difference between being alone and finally feeling at peace. For a long time, we’re taught that life is meant to be shared every step of the way, that if we’re alone, something must be missing. 🌱 Solitude teaches you things people can’t: * self-respect * independence * emotiona

When we feel lonely… we’re not actually alone. 🙂‍↔️
We all tend to give the concept of being physically alone a negative connotation. 😕 I’m not saying we don’t need human interaction — we absolutely do. We’re social creatures. But over-identifying yourself as being lonely can lead to unnecessary suffering. I offer you this perspective… 🌙 What

We are saved by Grace, but not by faith alone.
All of these Bible versions have the same verse, Ephesians 2:8, they all convey the same message: “For by grace, you have been saved through faith. And this is not of yourselves, for it is a gift of God.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭CPDV‬‬. But some people mistake this verse to mean something else. Peop

Alone vs. Lonely
When people hear that I’m a homemaker, their reactions usually fall into one of two categories: envy or pity. There’s rarely an in-between. Either it’s “Oh wow, I wish I could stay home” or “You poor thing… you must be so lonely.” And that second one always makes me pause. Because being home does n
