As I sat with God tonight and meditated on what joy looks like for me, I kept drawing blanks. Not that I have never had a joyous moment, because there have been plenty. However, I was reminded that we tend to find joy in things that have no value.
We joy in materialistic things. What about the fact that we woke up this morning? What about the great doctor report that we got? You should find joy in speaking on all aspects of your life because they are unique to you as a person.
