👄👄Upon the image, a truth profound,
A zipped-up mouth, where wisdom's found.
"Watch Your Mouth," the letters say,
A stark reminder for each day.
The lips, once open, now held fast,
A silent lesson, built to last.
For in the tongue, a fire burns,
Or healing balm, as life discerns.
Proverbs 13:3 (KJV 1611):
“He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.”
Oh, Yahuah, our Abba, hear our plea,
To guard our words, and speak like Thee.
Let not our tongues, with malice flow,
But seeds of truth and kindness sow.
For Yahusha, our King, did show the way,
To tame the tongue, and light the day.
From idle words, and hasty sound,
May grace and peace in us be found.
