MOMS!! PLEASE DO NOT SAVE THESE LIDS!!!

i’m going to put this in a way i can best explain it

i bought these for my nieces and nephews a lot

i would save them for them not thinking anything of it

but what people don’t understand is even if you boil them dishwash them or even try a toothpick nothing will stop mold from growing on the inside of the heads the only way to get the mold out of the head on the lid is to break them off and hopefully you can glue it back together so PLEASE do not save these for your kids they were removed from my town and ones near because of the fact they were making kids sick after being saved so please pleas please do not buy these or save them unless they only use it once and never use it again which at that point it is not worth even buying TexasTexas

Many parents may not be aware that character bottle lids can harbor mold, even after washing or boiling them. This issue has gained attention on social media platforms like TikTok, where various parent's hacks suggest tossing these lids instead of saving them. Mold not only compromises the integrity of the product but can also create serious health risks for children. Instead of keeping these potentially hazardous lids, consider investing in alternatives that are specifically designed for safety. For example, rubbermaid bottles and other toddler-friendly containers are popular options that do not have the same risks associated with character lids. There's also a growing market for customization, where parents are opting for unique heads from platforms like Etsy, ensuring that their kids’ drinking experience is both enjoyable and safe without the fear of mold. In conclusion, while it may seem harmless to save these character bottle lids, the health implications are significant. Make informed choices for your family by seeking safe alternatives and avoid keeping items that could endanger your little ones.
