Getting ready for mass as a wife & mom of 2
Happy new month from mine to yours. #sunday #morningroutine #familylove
Balancing family life and spiritual commitments as a wife and mom of two can be both fulfilling and challenging. From my experience, making time for Sunday Mass requires intentional preparation that involves the whole family. I usually start the weekend by planning outfits, preparing meals ahead, and organizing the kids’ essentials to avoid last-minute stress. Incorporating a morning routine that includes quiet reflection or prayer helps set a calm and focused tone for the day. It’s also a moment for me to mentally prepare while the kids engage in their own small rituals, such as choosing their clothes or helping with breakfast. Family love shines during these moments as we support each other in maintaining our faith and traditions. Encouraging kids to understand the significance of Mass positively impacts their appreciation and participation in family spiritual life. Over the years, I’ve learned that flexibility is key. Sometimes plans don’t go perfectly, but keeping a relaxed and positive attitude teaches resilience and gratitude, turning these Sundays into cherished family memories. Sharing responsibilities with my spouse also lightens the load, making our preparation more efficient and enjoyable. Overall, embracing these routines not only prepares us physically for Mass but nurtures our family bond and spiritual growth. I encourage other moms and wives to find small ways to personalize their preparation process to create meaningful and lasting family experiences each week.
