It wasn’t the mountain that caught my attention.
Have u noticed?
When the sky is full of clouds…
Our eyes naturally focus on the clouds.
Very rarely do we notice the little opening.
Life can feel like that too.
Sometimes we become so focused on what’s worrying us…
that we miss the little reminders of hope along the way.
Standing up here today…
It wasn’t the mountain that caught my attention.
It was the opening in the clouds.
And I felt God gently reminding me…
Not to focus only on the clouds.
Because He’s always there.
Just like the blue sky behind them.
Sometimes we may not see His plans clearly.
But that doesn’t mean He’s not at work.
Today’s view reminded me to keep looking up.
Have a blessed weekend, everyone. 😊

While we often find ourselves fixated on the challenges and uncertainties life brings, I've personally learned that sometimes, the true beauty lies in recognizing the subtle yet powerful signs of hope around us. Just like the image of clouds with a small clearing, life frequently offers us these openings – moments where light breaks through the darkness. In my own experiences, I have noticed how focusing solely on obstacles can cloud our perception, making the journey feel tougher than it really is. Often, it’s when I intentionally shift my gaze to the ‘opening in the clouds’—whether a kind word, a new opportunity, or a peaceful moment—that I regain strength and clarity. This perspective has helped me maintain faith, even when the road ahead seems unclear. Moreover, the reminder that "God’s always there, just like the blue sky behind the clouds" resonates deeply. It’s an encouragement that even if we can’t see the entire plan at once, there is a purpose unfolding behind the scenes. Trusting in that ongoing work has made my faith journey less daunting and more comforting. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, try this simple practice: pause and seek the small openings in your day. Look for the positive signs that might be easily overlooked. Maybe it’s a moment of calm, a genuine smile, or a fresh burst of inspiration. These little ‘openings’ can serve as anchors of hope, guiding you forward with renewed optimism. Remember, life’s clouds don’t define the entire sky. Just as nature’s panorama teaches us, sometimes what catches our attention most isn’t the imposing mountain or the overwhelming storm, but the bright opening hinting at clearer skies ahead. Keep looking up, stay hopeful, and embrace the faith that the bigger picture holds something beautiful beyond what’s immediately visible.
