It Sparkles
If I come to your house and your stove don’t look brand new and sparkling clean like mines half way do, please don’t even fix your mouth to offer me no food 😭😂
My answer already loaded: “Oh no, I’m good, I’m not hungry.”
Whole time my stomach in the background like: “Girl… you lying… we starving!!” 🥴🤣
But baby I will sacrifice this hunger with dignity before I risk what went down on that stove
😭💀
When it comes to hosting or visiting friends, the state of the kitchen often speaks volumes about cleanliness and care. I’ve personally found that a clean stove isn’t just about appearances—it’s about safety and peace of mind. There’s nothing worse than sitting down to enjoy a meal and wondering what kinds of residues or spills might be lurking on the cooking surface. From my experience, maintaining a spotless stove involves a few simple habits: wiping it down immediately after cooking to prevent buildup, using appropriate cleaning agents that won’t damage the surface, and regularly checking corners and under burners where food particles often hide. These steps not only keep your kitchen looking great but also reduce the risk of pests and unpleasant smells. I also relate to the funny yet all-too-real feeling of needing to decline food in someone else’s house because their stove isn’t up to par. It’s a delicate balance between being polite and taking care of yourself. Sometimes, it's better to say, “No thanks, I’m good,” even if your stomach protests! Protecting your health and comfort is key. So next time you invite someone over or visit a friend, take a moment to appreciate the effort behind a clean kitchen. It truly makes a difference in the overall dining experience and shows respect for everyone’s well-being.
