Start with finding a comfortable position—either sitting or lying down—but ensure your back is straight to facilitate deep breathing. Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a moment, and then gently exhale through your mouth. Focusing on your breath helps anchor you to the present moment. As you meditate, you may experience wandering thoughts. The key is to acknowledge them without judgment and gently guide your focus back to your breath or a calming mantra. Over time, you can gradually increase your meditation duration, aiming for 10-20 minutes as your practice deepens.
