Identifying Your Call in Formation
Character is developed in the formation.
From my experience, identifying your call in formation is more than just understanding your role—it's about recognizing how your actions impact the group's overall dynamic and success. When you truly grasp your call, whether it's leading, supporting, or coordinating, you build strong character traits like responsibility, discipline, and empathy. I found that engaging actively in the formation process not only strengthens your individual skills but also builds trust among team members. For example, practicing clear communication and being reliable in your position creates a cohesive environment where everyone's strengths are magnified. The term "D-iD" from the formation can remind us to 'Do it Decisively.' This mindset encourages commitment and confidence in fulfilling your call. When each person operates decisively within their role, the formation functions seamlessly, illustrating that character is indeed developed and tested in these group contexts. Reflecting on my journey, I encourage you to observe how different formations—whether in sports, work projects, or social groups—rely on clear calls to function effectively. By identifying your call, you contribute not only to team success but also to your personal growth and resilience.
