Today’s client’s Makeup 💄
Today I had a few clients makeup to do. My first client graduated ASU 🐝 today. The other two ladies had senior portraits ❤️🫶🏾🥰

Hey everyone! Seeing my clients light up with their amazing graduation and senior portrait makeup always makes my day. It truly got me thinking about how these beautiful looks, especially those with dazzling eyes and perfectly defined features, can totally inspire us to create stunning makeup for all ages, including mature skin. It's not about changing who you are or trying to look younger, but rather about enhancing your natural radiance and feeling confident! One of my recent clients rocked such elaborate glitter eye makeup, and it looked absolutely stunning! For mature eyes, the key is often placement and texture. Instead of chunky glitter that might settle into fine lines, I often recommend finer, pressed glitters or shimmery cream shadows. Applying these to the center of the lid brings light and dimension without emphasizing texture. A good, hydrating eye primer is your best friend here, trust me – it creates a smooth canvas and makes everything last longer! And those defined brows? Oh my goodness, they're a game-changer! As we age, brows can naturally become sparser, and defining them can literally lift the entire face. I love using a brow pencil or a finely milled powder to gently fill in any gaps and create a soft, natural arch. The trick is to keep it looking natural, avoiding harsh, drawn-on lines. Perfectly framed eyes make such a difference, just like the lovely clients in my post. For that 'full makeup' look, especially when it comes to foundation on mature skin, it’s all about a light hand and the right formula. I always lean towards hydrating, luminous foundations that offer a dewy finish rather than a heavy matte one, which can sometimes emphasize fine lines and texture. The goal is to even out skin tone and provide a healthy glow, not to create a mask. Blend, blend, blend! And don't forget a touch of cream blush on the apples of your cheeks for a youthful, fresh flush. Finally, those gorgeous glossy lips! They can make lips appear plumper and more youthful. I always suggest starting with a good lip liner in a shade close to your natural lip color or lipstick to prevent feathering, which can be more common with age. Then, apply a hydrating lipstick topped with a non-sticky gloss. It completes the look with a touch of elegance and brilliance, making the lips look full and vibrant. Remember, makeup for mature skin is truly about glow, definition, and celebrating your unique beauty. Good skincare, proper hydration, and choosing the right products make all the difference. It's such a joy to help every client feel their most beautiful, no matter their age or the occasion!

Love your makeup looks! Keep sharing 😊
