Spiritual hygiene is very important besides the common knowledge of keeping away negative people. We all know this. Taking a spiritual bath can remove blockages and keep your mind grounded. Africans and indigenous people have been using these methods of spiritual protection for centuries because the mind, body, and spirit is one. You don't need to be initiated into any religion to do this. This world is full of demons ( people who purposely choose to break/own ppl spirit) you have to learn how to wash away those vibrations that you may pick up from other people. Those who's understand that is happening in the universe right now. A lot of people are going through ancestral karma or trying to desinty swap with people. YES this is a thing that people are doing now. Copy and paste energy is very real . These toxic ppl are doing work on people to push them into a lane that their not post to be on. A simple bath white candle and a prayer( psalms 91 and 54. verse 7 and can move mountains. This is for my spiritual people I don't wanna see no Christian Bible thumpers leaving harassing comments. This is not for your tribe thank you. What ever religion or spiritual systems you're a part of always keep up your hygiene and stay consistent. Why.... the devil never take breaks.....(meaning evil will never stop for nobody it's 24/7)

... Read moreMaintaining my spiritual hygiene has become as vital as my physical routine, and honestly, spiritual baths are my secret weapon! I initially started exploring them because I felt overwhelmed by external energies, constantly picking up on other people's 'stuff.' That's when I discovered the profound wisdom in herbal bath spiritual cleansing, drawing from practices like hoodoo spiritual bath traditions that have honored the power of nature for centuries.
It's more than just a bath; it's a sacred ritual to purify your aura, release energetic blockages, and fortify your spiritual defenses. For me, it's about reclaiming my energy. You don't need a fancy setup. I've used everything from a simple bowl with spring water to a full bathtub. The intention is what truly counts.
When I prepare my spiritual cleansing bath herbs, I often start by gathering specific spiritual plants. I love using fresh green herbs like rosemary for deep cleansing and protection, basil for attracting good fortune, and mint for clarity and renewal. Sometimes I'll blend them in a wooden bowl before steeping them. I'll simmer the herbs in water for about 15-20 minutes, letting their essences infuse, then strain the liquid into my bathwater. This creates a potent spiritual cleansing herbal bath elixir.
To enhance the purifying properties, I often add slices of lemon and orange – not just for their beautiful aroma, but because citrus is amazing for cutting through negativity. A few apple slices can bring in blessings, and flower petals, especially rose, invite love and peace into the space. A handful of sea salt is also critical for drawing out stagnant energy. And of course, a lit candle provides a focal point for my intentions, creating a serene ambiance (just like you see in some of my pics!).
Once my bath is ready, I step in, often feet first, feeling the warm, herbal water embrace me. I focus on my breath and visualize any heaviness or unwanted energies simply dissolving and washing away. I might recite a prayer or affirmation, or simply sit in quiet contemplation, allowing the powerful combination of herbs and water to do its work. It's truly a full-body reset.
After about 20-30 minutes, I slowly get out, letting my body air dry if possible, allowing the herbal essence to really soak in. Then, I return the used herbs and flower petals to the earth, giving thanks. This practice has not only helped me maintain my spiritual hygiene but has also grounded me significantly, especially when dealing with intense situations or people. It's a powerful tool against what feels like 'poor spiritual hygiene' that can easily build up from daily life. Consistency, as my original post mentioned, is key – you wouldn't skip brushing your teeth, right? Your spiritual self deserves the same care!
Can you give more details on how to do a spiritual bath?? 🥰
