Spiritual Frauds ( Scammers and Fakes)
Spirituality and occulitism has become more popular than ever before because of how social media has exposed hidden information to the public. Now that more people are practicing more than ever a lot of scammers has infatuated and have been capitalizing off of peoples emotions/lack of knowledge.
Initiations - Checking your bloodline is very important. You should never initiate yourself into a African spiritual systems that has nothing to do with your cultural lineage. EX This is for my African Americans. A lot of practitioners from different African diaspora or other cultures like to scam/ give false information to AA because they think ya dont know your culture and will push you into voodoo/other spiritual systems that don't energly mesh. My Black amerian people please stick to HOODOO ROOTWORK, CONJURE , (Sub alternative work) native American Shamanism or PRACTICES THAT ARE ONLY FROM AMERICA (especially if you're family have been in the states for 9- 10 generations). ALL your magic is on this land use it. Caribbeans and Africans carry a different energy/frequency. WE are all black BTW but we have to stick to our roots. We all have different deities that will help our own people. Those who stick to thier roots and culture usually prosper because they understand themselves. Hoodoo is as powerful as Palo/ifa/juju stop letting ppl capitalize off your lack of knowledge. Study your culture. This applies to everyone who's reading this not only AA ppl.
Fruits of labor - When looking for a mentor or getting spiritual work done. Look at the practitioners life. If they are broke, unhappy, envious, cutthroat, vibe at a lower frequency, and have self hate. Stay far away from them. A real person who's connected to spirit ✨️ will always have a abundant life and will always prosper through life difficult test . A SCAMMER will give you spiritual advice but have a bad reputation of using people's emotions to gain profits, they have huge ego, (narcissistic) , the clients life has stayed the same nothing has changed, the practitioners life is in shambles, and they are always at war with other people ( drama). You can do a simple prayer ( ask st Micheal or Mega tron to expose the person intentions). Just look into the person life/ energy for verification.
Cults,Energy harvesting, Destiny swapping-
Spiritual pimps do exist. A lot of the these dark scammers will purposely create problems in your life so you can keep coming to them as a client. These people will energy harvest off you or destiny swapp because they looked into your life so they will give the wrong information so you can go into a path that God didn't want you to go in. A spiritual house can also turn into a cult. A house that only has men leading is dangerous because women have the keys to the different dimensions. MEN and Women are both important, both genders have thier place. If you're in a spiritual house ( you been in the same position mentality physically or psychologically) your house has fake leaders. If you're going to attach yourself to anything your life should be getting better not staying stagnant. BE CAREFUL AND ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR GUT.
Remember study your roots and culture and understanding thy self.
Spiritual frauds present serious challenges in the rising popularity of spirituality and occultism, especially within African American and indigenous communities. Understanding your cultural roots and bloodline is critical in avoiding scams that misguide practitioners into incompatible spiritual systems. For African Americans, sticking to Hoodoo, rootwork, and conjure traditions native to America can help maintain spiritual integrity and prevent exploitation by those promoting unrelated diaspora practices such as Voodoo or other African spiritual systems with different energies. When seeking spiritual mentors or services, assessing the practitioner’s life and energy is essential. Authentic spiritual leaders typically demonstrate abundance, positivity, and personal growth, whereas scammers often exhibit egotism, drama, and stagnant results in clients’ lives. Simple spiritual protections, like prayers to Archangel Michael, can aid in discerning genuine intentions. Beware of cult-like spiritual houses and spiritual pimps who manipulate clients to create dependency through energy harvesting or destiny swapping, steering individuals away from their true path. Gender balance in leadership is also a crucial indicator of healthy spiritual communities, as women hold key energies across dimensions. By studying your cultural heritage and cultivating a critical mindset, you empower yourself to identify and reject spiritual scams. This vigilance enables a true connection with spirit and fosters prosperity, aligning your journey with genuine traditions and avoiding fraudulent practices that exploit emotional vulnerabilities.

I get what you're saying, but as long as you research your lineage, you can practice an African Spirituality that aligns for you because it may very well be in your lineage which led you to it or an Af Am Spirituality, since they are rooted in African, Indigenous practices that were also molded through oppression. But research is still an important factor regardless. So I definitely agree about that.
