In my personal experience, surrounding yourself with positive energy is essential for mental and emotional wellbeing. I've noticed that people with 'cursed bloodlines'—a term used to describe those carrying negative energy or toxic traits—often bring unnecessary stress and disturbance into your life. For example, drama lovers tend to create conflict where none is needed, making everyday interactions exhausting. One key trait I learned to recognize early on is narcissism and people with huge egos. These individuals often disregard others' feelings and create an environment centered on themselves, which drains your emotional energy. Similarly, liars and cheaters fundamentally breach trust, which is the foundation for any healthy relationship. People with a god complex exhibit arrogance and a lack of empathy, which can be very alienating. Gossipers can also be quite harmful. They damage reputations and breed distrust, while people who "throw stones and hide their hands" spread negativity behind your back. The presence of people involved in crime or who indulge in laziness can pull you into unhealthy lifestyles or encourage complacency. I’ve found that people who constantly victimize themselves or act as group thinkers can limit your growth, as they often resist accountability and personal responsibility. Being connected to toxic families or bloodlines presenting racism, colorism, homophobia, and oppression only deepens this negative cycle, affecting not just personal but communal well-being. Others who love chaos, can't live in peace, or enjoy stirring up trouble drain your peace of mind. Envy and jealousy poison relationships, while people who perpetually embrace negativity or enjoy stressing others out create a harmful environment. Learning to identify and distance yourself from these 'cursed' influences has been liberating for me. It's not always easy, especially when these people are family or close friends, but prioritizing your own mental health and peace is crucial. Embracing boundaries and seeking supportive, uplifting connections can transform your life for the better.
