Stop Complaining and invest in your own community
in 2026 I want black people to stop going on the internet and complaining that a restaurant is racist and doesnt respect black people. its getting old. The solution is more black people need to start building thier own establishments and invest in to your own community. I keep saying the same thing. I personally barely deal with racism or colorism because I only eat at Black Own restaurants not only BA restaurants I mean black Caribbean, West africans and non- racist afro latin restaurants. Black people are one of the best cooks in the world 🌎 and our food is good 👍 . LETS USE OUR COMMON SENSE. if you know most people don't like black people why are you obbessed with being in other cultures spaces when you are aware that some of them have disdain for black people. Many of ya that have this issue need to learn self respect and cultural preservation. SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH YOUR OWN PEOPLE = THAT IS THE SOLUTION. from example for two years strights all my money has been spend on the black community even when it comes to vacations. I've been traveling to all black countries and had a great time = because I'm with my own people. This is 2026 thier are many black high quality restaurants, steak houses, etc. Racism will never go away but you can limit these encounters by investing, working and sticking with your own people. im not saying be racist to other people . what im preaching is when you stick with your own people and work together ❤️ you'll experience less problems. At this point if you go into another restaurants that isnt own from a black man or women and you experience racism or hostile treatment I'm not going to feel sorry for you because you'll already know how people are. if you want something different = COOK IT AT HOME. I cook a variety of dishes from different cultures and enjoy them while saving money and not experiencing bad treatment..

Exploring Black-owned restaurants, including those representing Caribbean, West African, and Afro-Latin cuisines, has exposed me to incredible culinary diversity and quality that rivals mainstream options. This approach has helped me avoid hostile encounters often experienced in non-Black owned spaces. Investing locally and building businesses within the Black community ignites economic empowerment by creating jobs and fostering wealth circulation. It simultaneously strengthens cultural pride and preserves traditions that are often overlooked. While racism may not disappear overnight, steering clear of spaces known for prejudice limits personal exposure and cultivates a supportive network where mutual respect thrives. For those who encounter discrimination in certain restaurants, cooking at home has been a rewarding solution—allowing experimentation with diverse recipes from multiple cultures without the negative experiences outside. Many have found joy in blending different culinary traditions while creating safe, inclusive experiences in their own kitchens. Ultimately, embracing self-respect and cultural preservation through consistent community investment creates lasting positive change. It promotes unity, encourages collaboration, and opens doors for new Black-owned ventures to flourish. By consciously directing resources and attention where they’re valued, we uplift our people and build a future grounded in pride, prosperity, and mutual respect.
