When people ask me why i am so blessed 🙌
yess because I am not a self hating coon. lol so many people pratice atr but hate black people or hate dark skin which is very hypocritical. Saying your the child of a african detie but arent very attracted to black women or men is very werid. That's why I know majority of people are not connected to the orishia/any african spirits. ....Because why ya lives look like that. lol
Connecting deeply with African spirituality has been a transformative journey for me. I’ve noticed that many individuals who identify with African traditional religions sometimes struggle with internalized biases, ironically distancing themselves from the beauty of Black identity they claim to honor. This disconnect can create conflict in personal identity and spirituality. From my experience, embracing the Orishas and authentic African heritage requires more than just ritual practice; it demands honest self-love and acceptance. Recognizing the sacredness in oneself, especially as a person of dark skin, opens the door to spiritual blessings and mental peace. For example, using holy items like anointed oils with reverence, as I do, serves as a powerful reminder of my connection to divine energy and protection. I’ve learned that when you honor your roots sincerely, your life reflects the blessings that come with spiritual alignment. It’s about overcoming societal pressures that often promote colorism or spiritual dissonance. Sharing this personal perspective encourages others on similar paths to evaluate their relationship with African traditions and embrace a more authentic, loving connection with themselves and their culture. Ultimately, being blessed is about genuine self-acceptance, cultural pride, and true spiritual connection—elements that help transform lives and combat internalized negativity. This ongoing journey proves that spirituality is alive and meaningful when approached with respect, love, and awareness.
