Healthy eating

Ive been struggling tryna eat healthy and work out. Especially when it’s not something I grew up seeing. I started at the beginning of the year but fell off, now for the last month or so I’ve been consistent in changing my habits and working out at least 3 times a week. I’m now 10 pounds down and I see a change in my love handles. I started small by changing my habits and I’m so proud of myself for the consistency. Praying everyone has the same motivation!

From my experience, the key is to begin with manageable goals rather than drastic changes. For me, focusing on just working out three times a week and making simple adjustments to what I eat was a game changer. I found that prepping meals ahead of time saved me from grabbing unhealthy snacks or fast food on busy days, which really helped maintain my healthy eating. It’s also helped me develop a better relationship with food—not seeing it as punishment but as fuel for my workouts and daily life. Plus, I started tracking small wins, like noticing when my clothes felt looser or my energy was higher, instead of solely focusing on the scale. This kept me motivated during times when progress felt slow. Exercise didn’t need to be complicated. I mixed things up with cardio, strength training, and flexibility exercises to keep it interesting. Over time, these small, consistent steps built momentum. I was proud to see a 10-pound loss and reduction around my love handles, which encouraged me to keep growing these habits further. For anyone struggling to adopt healthier habits, my advice is: be patient with yourself, celebrate small successes, and stay consistent even if life gets hectic. Remember, healthy eating and fitness are journeys, not quick fixes. With time, your body and mind will thank you for the positive changes.
