So for the past few years I have been trying to get my fitness journey going. I am truly a gym junkie at heart. Life has a funny way of putting you on pause. I had some babies and also other things. You have to make a choice though. Its hard to just press the start button but once you get going its a wrap. #KeepFighting #BeStrong #QueenUpBoss #WeightUp

From my own experience, balancing motherhood and personal goals meant that progress didn’t always follow a straight path—but perseverance is key. What helped me was shifting focus from perfection to progress. Instead of expecting rapid results, I celebrated every small gain, like a 0.5kg increase in strength or simply sticking to my routine for a week. Nutrition played a crucial role too. The saying "You’re what you eat" really resonated with me—fueling my body with the right foods gave me the energy to push harder at the gym. Starting the day with a solid breakfast and nutritious meals kept my energy consistent, which in turn supported my physical progress. Another powerful motivator is setting achievable goals and tracking them. Seeing my progress visually, whether it was lifting heavier weights or feeling more energized, made a huge difference. I embraced the mindset, "Strive for progress, not perfection," which kept me grounded and motivated despite occasional setbacks. Most importantly, I learned to be kind to myself during this journey. Life’s interruptions—like having kids or other responsibilities—don’t have to mean stopping completely. They just mean adapting your pace. Taking small steps daily, staying positive, and using supportive communities like the #KeepFighting and #BeStrong hashtags empower you to stay consistent. Your fitness journey is personal, and with commitment, you will find your momentum again.
