In my experience, having just a few close friends often means that those friendships are built on a solid foundation of trust and honesty. It’s not about how many friends someone has but the quality of those connections. I’ve been in situations where people had large social circles, but constant deceit or gossip made me feel uncomfortable and unsure about their loyalty. One thing I’ve noticed is that friends who are truly genuine will tell you the hard truths to your face rather than pretending everything is fine and then talking behind your back. This level of honesty can be tough to handle, but it ultimately strengthens the bond. On the other hand, some people might keep fewer friends because they are selective and value deep connections over superficial interactions. It’s important to be cautious but also open-minded about this. A girl with minimal friends might have chosen her circle carefully, avoiding toxic relationships, which is a positive sign of self-awareness and maturity. In the end, trust should be based on actions, consistency, and mutual respect rather than the number of friends someone has. Quality friendships provide a safe space where people can be themselves without the fear of betrayal. What has your experience been like with friendships—do you prefer a large friend group or a few close, trustworthy friends?
