Each scent has a personality that sets it apart—especially when crafted with complex notes that blend fruitiness, spice, florals, and gourmand undertones. For instance, Magic Hour incorporates watermelon, golden mango, and a daring hint of chili pepper paired with coconut milk and sandalwood, creating a unique balance of sweet and grown-up vibes that I found quite captivating. Despite my initial skepticism about the chili pepper, it adds a subtle warmth rather than overwhelming heat. Highlife caught my attention with its spicy, fruity floral mix featuring pink pepper, raspberry, Turkish rose, and West African frankincense. The rose and patchouli combination might be polarizing for some, especially since patchouli tends to dominate at first, but the dry down reveals a beautifully layered scent. I suggest trying a travel size first if you’re not usually a fan of patchouli—sometimes the evolution on the skin is where the magic happens. One of my personal favorites from the line is Well Loved, which leans into edible skin gourmand territory. The buttery, creamy elements like magnolia, tuberose, shea butter, and vanilla make it feel indulgently cozy. I had moments where it felt almost overwhelmingly delicious, which is exactly why I opted for a full bottle after sampling it. Shea butter as a prominent note is quite rare in perfumes, and it gives this one a smooth, comforting aura that's perfect for daily wear or special occasions. Lastly, Gold Standard is an intriguing spicy fruity blend with blood orange, Nigerian ginger, saffron, and a warm base of caramel, rum, and amber. It’s the most unisex of the bunch and shines particularly in cooler seasons. I found it surprisingly versatile, pairing well with both casual and formal outfits. The spicy kick combined with sweet and woody undertones makes it a compelling choice for anyone wanting a fragrance with depth and character. Overall, Funmi has carved out a niche with these creations by combining unexpected notes and crafting scents that offer something truly different in a crowded market. If you’re exploring new fragrance brands, giving Influxious a try could be quite rewarding—plus, the diversity of scents means there’s likely a match for various moods and tastes. From fruity and fresh to spicy and gourmand, these perfumes have layers that invite you to wear and appreciate them multiple times.
