Side by Side: Blonde Amber vs Blonde Ambition
Welcome back to a #miniseries that may be a mini series, not sure if it will stay a mini series, ok fine! Welcome to another episode of side by side where I compare fragrances that are inspired bys of the original perfume.
This is not to encourage you to pick one over the other but my personal opinion and recommend you smell both.
In this video I prefer Blonde Ambition and it’s one of my top 2 fragrances from brown sugar babe.
We get to smell these fragrances together and we can have more dialogue in the comment section 🫶🏾.
Thanks for watching as always. What have you tried from brown sugar babe?

After my initial side-by-side sniffing session, I wanted to dive deeper into why Brown Sugar Babe's Blonde Ambition has truly captured my heart, especially when pitted against the iconic Blonde Amber. Many of you search for blonde ambition perfume and brown sugar babe blonde ambition, and I totally get why – this one is a standout in the inspired-by world! What immediately struck me about BSB's Blonde Ambition is its incredible creaminess. While the original Blonde Amber, which I believe is from Clive Christian, often leans a bit more into a sharp, almost boozy spiciness, the BSB version is pure, smooth indulgence. It's like they've taken the best, most inviting parts of the original and softened the edges, making it incredibly mass-appealing without losing its sophistication. This is precisely why I find myself reaching for it so often, whether I'm heading to work or out for a casual dinner. And speaking of indulgence, the OCR mentioned something about it smelling like a 'Souffle with Grand Marnier' – and honestly, that description is absolutely spot on! There’s this delectable, almost edible quality to it that makes you want to keep sniffing your wrist. It’s warm, gourmand-ish, but never overly sweet or cloying. It’s got that cozy, comforting vibe that’s perfect for any occasion, evoking memories of luxurious desserts. This unique nuance is something I truly cherish in my fragrance collection and sets it apart. One of my absolute favorite things about this blonde ambition perfume is its incredible versatility. As I mentioned before, it’s an absolute dream for layering. Whether you want to add a touch of vanilla for extra sweetness and depth, a burst of citrus to brighten it up for warmer weather, or something milky for even more creaminess, this perfume plays exceptionally well with others. It’s a fantastic base to build a custom scent, or a beautiful, complex stand-alone scent all on its own. The fact that it predominantly comes as an oil often means greater longevity, and I can personally vouch for that. I wore this brown sugar babe blonde ambition for a full 12-hour shift at work, and it genuinely lasted on skin and clothes, still offering a pleasant, warm scent trail by the end of the day. That kind of staying power is truly hard to beat, especially for such an affordable option that delivers such a high-quality experience. Comparing the oil vs spray format is also an interesting aspect. While the original spray has its own unique projection and sillage, the concentrated oil of Brown Sugar Babe's version feels more intimate and long-lasting on the skin, slowly unfurling its beautiful notes throughout the day. For those looking for a luxurious scent experience without the designer price tag, brown sugar babe blonde ambition is an absolute gem. It truly elevates your everyday scent game, making you feel special and enveloped in a unique aroma without breaking the bank. If you're on the fence about trying an inspired-by fragrance or simply curious about this particular comparison, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this one a try – it might just become your new signature scent, just like it has for me. It's a testament to how fantastic independent brands can be!
