Do NOT Skip This Warning From Jesus! (Urgent)

Lately, I’ve found myself pondering the urgency in passages like 1 John 2:18-23. It’s easy to feel a bit overwhelmed by the concept of "the last hour" or references to "antichrists," but what I’ve realized is that this isn’t meant to scare us, but to equip us. For me, it’s been a call to truly LISTEN to what the Bible says and to deepen my walk with CHRIST. This scripture reminds us that many antichrists have already come, signifying that we are indeed in the last hour before Jesus' SECOND COMING. It’s not about looking for one singular villain, but recognizing any spirit or teaching that denies Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God who came in the flesh. This TRUTH is crucial for our spiritual discernment today. I used to struggle with how to identify what’s truly from God amidst so many voices, but focusing on this core message has been a game-changer. The key, for me, has been understanding what it means to "abide in Him." The passage tells us that if we remain in what we have heard from the beginning, we will also remain in the Son and in the Father. This isn’t a passive act; it’s an active choice to GETTING COMFORTABLE with His Word, to KEEPING His teachings close, and allowing them to shape our daily lives. When I commit to regular Bible study, I find my spiritual "radar" for falsehoods becomes much clearer. It’s like Jesus Himself is ENCOURAGING me through His Words. One of the most practical takeaways for me has been strengthening my relationship with God. The questions I often ask myself, similar to those found in the OCR, are "How can I strengthen my relationship with God?" and "How can I apply Jesus' teachings in my daily life, especially in difficult situations?" This passage answers by emphasizing steadfastness in the TRUTH. When we truly know Jesus, His character, and His teachings, we can better identify anything that contradicts Him. It’s about building a strong foundation, so when deceptive winds blow, we are not easily swayed. And what about showing God's LOVE to others, even when they are difficult to love? The passage in 1 John stresses that those who acknowledge the Son also have the Father. True faith, therefore, isn't just an intellectual assent; it's a transformed heart that reflects God's love. When we abide in Christ, His love naturally flows through us. It’s a beautiful journey to walk in the LOVE of God, to extend grace, and to share the hope of His COMING return. So, while the warning in 1 John 2:18-23 is urgent, it’s ultimately a message of hope and empowerment. It encourages us to stay vigilant, to hold onto the fundamental TRUTH about Jesus, and to live lives that are READY for His glorious RETURN. It reminds me to daily seek the LORD, to LOOK to Him for guidance, and to trust that He will BLESS those who remain in Him. It’s about living with purpose, deeply rooted in Christ, as we await His return.
