Jesus is the Way, Truth, and Life
Jesus is on our behalf as we choose to be on His. We do not have to choose that path but in doing so brings consequences. Consequences aren’t always bad but all choices have them. We can live to serve the world and gain the world but loose our soul along with the world when it perishes, or we can serve Jesus and work in His name for His glory so we can live eternally. Serving Jesus is never said to be easy nor is it said to be hard, but it promises that we will be put through trials and tribulations that Jesus will bring us out of if we listen, and promises of eternal life or death to those who listen and those who dont. There are plenty of stories in the Bible showcasing what happens to those who chose to listen and those who didn’t, but there’s also a Jesus that comes to save, forgive, and love for all that we have done.
In the journey of faith, understanding that Jesus represents the Way, the Truth, and the Life is crucial. He calls us to surrender our worldly desires and embrace a path dedicated to His glory. Each choice we make bears weight, and while navigating life’s tribulations, we learn to rely on His strength. Throughout the Bible, we find countless narratives illustrating the dichotomy of listening to God or turning away. It's in these stories that we recognize the grace extended to us through Jesus, who forgives and redeems despite our shortcomings. In the face of trials and doubts, His intercessory power reminds us that we are shielded by God’s love, continually uplifted by His prayers. As we face challenges, let us remember that faith may waver, yet through Christ, we are commissioned to press on. Reflecting on Luke 22:32, we understand that Jesus prays for our steadfastness, anchoring our hope in His unfailing promises. Thus, in every choice, we decide to either embrace the world or align ourselves with the teachings and sacrifice of Jesus, ultimately leading us toward eternal life.
