Christian music that’s actually vibeeeyyy

As someone whose world revolves around music, it was important for me to find music that was consistently edifying God while also matching my style. So i found some artists and I love them! Music that sounds like something you’d hear on a secular station but without the glorification of murder, sex, revenge, drugs, and heartbreak. I sometimes have to keep myself from twerking to the Christian hiphop but I’m human 🤷🏽‍♀️🤣

✨Soft reminder: God created music, so His songs will always hit different babe no matter the genre. ✝️

... Read moreHey everyone! Like many of you, I used to think Christian music was just one specific sound – maybe traditional hymns or very soft worship. But lately, I've been on such an amazing journey discovering the incredible diversity within Christian music, and it's totally transformed my playlists! It’s been so refreshing to find music that upholds my faith while genuinely matching my personal style. It turns out there's a whole world of Christian genres out there, far beyond what I initially imagined. If you're looking for something that offers 'Christian songs that are great alternatives to secular music,' you're in luck! There's Christian Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Indie, Lo-Fi, and even electronic worship. Each type brings its own unique flavor, proving that God's message can truly resonate through any sound. For instance, I've stumbled upon some powerful Christian hip-hop tracks that have me ready to dance, just like I would to any mainstream hit, but with lyrics that build me up instead of bringing me down. It’s amazing how these different Christian music types cater to every mood and moment. One of my favorite discoveries has been artists like Madison Ryann Ward, whose 'Sweet Candy Cane' is just beautifully soulful. Sarah Nathalié, with tracks like 'Pillow Soft' and 'Crown,' offers such a unique, serene vibe that's perfect for chill moments. And if you're into something a bit more experimental yet deeply spiritual, Sondae's work, including 'Have Jesus I Would Rather,' along with 'Air I Breathe' (featuring Isabelle Brown) and 'Elohim,' has been absolutely captivating. These aren't just 'Christian music types'; they're artists pushing boundaries! Then there's Caleb Gordon's 'Rivers of Zion,' which brings a fresh, contemporary energy. Hill Perry & Sondae Jack's 'Psalms 88' is another gem that beautifully blends scripture with modern sound. It's truly eye-opening to see how many talented musicians are dedicating their gifts to creating uplifting content. So, how can you find your next favorite Christian jam? My biggest tip is to explore. Don't be afraid to dive into streaming service playlists labeled 'Christian Hip-Hop,' 'Christian R&B,' or even 'Indie Christian.' Look for artist-curated playlists too! Follow artists you like on social media because they often share their influences and new discoveries. Sometimes, just searching for 'Christian alternatives to [secular genre you like]' can open up a whole new world. Remember, music is a gift from God, and there's no single way it 'should' sound. Find what resonates with your spirit and helps you connect with Him. It's been such a joy finding these hidden gems that keep my faith strong and my mood upbeat. I hope you find yours too!
