Tattoos I have and tattoos I want to get
My first tattoo: is on my left back bicep/back of my arm.
It is for my grandmother. It was my first ever tattoo. I was more excited than I was nervous to get this tattoo. I had planned it out for almost 3 years and i decided where I wanted it. It was very thought out and was not a spur of the moment type of thing. I had a great experience! Hardly any pain at all. It honestly felt like someone was scratching a sunburn (if I had one). The only time it really hurt was when my artist got to a sensitive part of my arm.
My second tattoo: is in an odd spot. I’m not crazy about how big it is, the placement is kinda weird but it’s in a good spot (at least I think it is) therefore I have more room for other tattoos. This tattoo was not planned out very well. I literally had an hour to decide what I wanted it to look like and we chose the font in a 10 minute timespan. I highly recommend that you plan out your tattoos and really think about it, give it meaning! This tattoo was a little bit more painful than my first, because it was in a more sensitive area but the pain was tolerable.
My third tattoo: is currently non existent but in the works! I’m just saving money and waiting for the right time to send my artist an email and discuss/plan it out. I have officially decided I will be getting a movie ticket (pictured above and designed by me) right below my bicep. It has been thought out and I’ve wanted to get this tattoo for a year now. It has a very special and sweet meaning to me behind it. Everyone I have talked to loves the idea.
disclaimer if you have not scrolled through the pictures above and read: this is for my coworker who is like family and a best friend to me so the decision to me is not reckless.
Originally I got the nickname “movie star” early this year when I chopped my hair off. I came into work one day with it curled and my coworker said “Reeselynn you look like a movie star girl! Look at her doesn’t she look like a movie star!” It was one of the best compliments I think I’ve ever gotten from a man. One day he told me I looked like Marilyn Monroe 🤣 i definitely don’t but again I loved the compliment so much. A while after that the nickname kinda stuck unintentionally. One day I started wearing these sunglasses that were clearly too big for my face and he started the nickname “movie star” and “Hollywood”. It stuck so well that other people started calling me those two nicknames. - added to the meaning of this tattoo my coworker has also always given me an orange every work day. He has not skipped a day. At one point I had enough oranges to make orange juice because I was not able to eat them😂.

When it comes to vines and flowers it can signify growth because this is the one I got on my finger, and I decided that’s what I wanted it to mean because this year has been a yr for me, but there’s other meaning for vines and flowers; you just have to look into them 😊
