Why I won't share this with my narcissistic mom

I at 21 finally started driving! For years, I have fought with anxiety and a fear of driving, which has stopped me from many opportunities. Lately, my parents' narcissism and emotional abuse have gotten worse. So staying here is no longer a safe option. For years, I've stayed for my other 4 siblings still home, and the cost of living in California is high. But now I have a long-time partner and stepson who need me, so I need to face my fears of driving. We plan on leaving and moving away from our families to better our careers and to raise the baby the way we want. This means that as much as I love my mom, she can't be a part of it. I can't stand her making my achievements all about her. The back and forth of her hating my existence to me being her "world." Im tired of her accusing me of not being a proper adult while simultaneously never preparing me for adulthood and keeping me in the dark. I know it's for the best, but I still feel guilty.
