I went to Otaru's hidden scenic spot "Asahi Observatory" ~!
The famous Mt. Tengu is good, but this is a quieter and more relaxing spot. The contrast between the cityscape of Otaru overlooking from an altitude of 190 m and the blue sea (Otaru Port) is really beautiful and impressive! 🥹
The observatory building itself is retro and cute, and it will be a picture no matter where you cut it.
The wind was comfortable and I forgot the time 🍃

旭展望台に実際に訪れて感じたことですが、この場所は標高190mという高さからの見晴らしが本当に素晴らしく、静かな環境で自然と街の景色を同時に楽しめるのが魅力です。私が訪れた日は晴天で、夏の暑さを和らげる涼しい風が吹いており、まるで時間がゆっくりと流れているような感覚に。旭展望台自体がレトロで味わい深い建物なので、写真を撮るのも楽しく、一緒に訪れた友人も大満足でした。 また、旭展望台から見える小樽港の青い海は見る角度によって様々な表情を見せ、北防波堤の灯台や遠くに見える暑寒別連山の景色も魅力的です。小樽のメイ ン観光地の天狗山の賑わいと比べて、ここはどこか落ち着いた雰囲気があり、混雑を避けたい人には最高のスポットだと感じました。小樽観光や北海道旅行の際には、ぜひ計画に組み込んでほしい場所です。 さらに、旭展望台周辺には手密公園などもあり、散策しながら地元の自然を満喫できます。小樽の歴史を感じさせるレトロな街並みと港の景色を一望できる旭展望台は、観光だけでなく写真撮影スポットとしてもおすすめですよ。訪れる時間帯によっては夕日の美しさも格別なので、日中から夕方にかけて足を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。
