Things I doto fill upmy own cup
Alright, yesterday I went snowboarding for only the second time in my life. Chat tell meeee, does it get easier!? First of all, I can get up on my own and I only made it off the ski lift once without falling. I love ice skating and hiking in the winter. But I just can’t seem to get snowboarding down. I don’t know why it’s so intimidating to me. Perhaps I’m hanging out with the wrong crowd. I think next time I will do some one on one lessons. Because everyone I have talked to says the same thing: skip the bunny slopes, and go straight to the top and just figure it out. Which sounds good, until I get to the top and about 1/4 of the way I fall. Then I get over stimulated with all the people zipping by me. Because truly, it’s dangerous. One collision could cost a life, or at the very least a limb. I know…it’s all in my head. But still, I value safety and fun. Friends who read this…share your snowboarding stories.
