Cy-Fest vs College Student Photo

2025 vs 2017 🐔 📸

This Falcon got the chance to recreate our 2017 photo and catch up with Cy the Mascot at my alma mater.

It felt so good to be back where it all began.

The tradition of revisiting old photos with a collegiate mascot like Cy embodies a unique blend of nostalgia and school pride that resonates deeply with alumni and current students alike. Events such as Fall 2017 Club Rush, as highlighted in the image OCR, are pivotal moments where new students immerse themselves in campus life, making memories that last. Returning to your alma mater to recreate those cherished snapshots not only rekindles those memories but also strengthens the enduring bond between past and present campus communities. Cy the Mascot serves as a vibrant symbol during College Spirit Week, energizing students and alumni to celebrate togetherness and university identity. Capturing these moments side by side, from 2017 to 2025, creates a 'full circle moment' that reflects personal growth and the evolving campus culture. Engaging in such traditions encourages participation in campus events, fosters community spirit, and preserves the legacy of student experiences across generations. Whether you're a current student, an alum, or a community supporter, embracing these photographic recreations inspires a deeper connection to the university’s history and ongoing journey. It reminds us all that no matter how much time passes, the memories forged during college years remain a cherished part of our identity.
