It’s truly a dream come true to finally be building out my very own square body Chevy! There's just something about these trucks – their classic lines and undeniable toughness – that makes them stand out. For me, it's more than just a vehicle; it's a piece of history and a canvas for my personal style. I've always admired the look of a well-maintained or thoughtfully customized square body, and now I get to put my own spin on one. Speaking of customization, you might have seen that my sexy beast just got some brand new rims and tires today! This was a huge step in her transformation, and I couldn't be happier with how they complete the look. Choosing the right set wasn't easy; I spent a lot of time researching different styles and sizes, weighing the pros and cons of various brands. I wanted something that would not only look incredible but also perform well, especially since I'm aiming for that perfect lifted square body stance. It's amazing how much of a difference new wheels can make to the whole presence of a truck! The vision for this build is definitely a classic, rugged aesthetic. While she's getting there, there's still so much to do! I've been eyeing some really cool square body paint jobs – maybe a timeless two-tone scheme or something a bit more unique. Restoring the exterior and interior to truly reflect that 'dream truck' vibe is next on the list. I'm also exploring options for the suspension. A 12-inch lift square body setup is tempting for that aggressive look, but I'm still figuring out the right balance between height and practicality for my daily adventures. Some of the 'bubba setup' trucks I’ve seen are pretty wild, but I’m leaning towards a cleaner, yet still imposing, lifted aesthetic. Owning and customizing a square body really embodies that simple life and simple lifestyle I love. It’s about getting your hands dirty, learning new things, and appreciating the craftsmanship. Being a girl who loves trucks, there's a unique joy in seeing my vision come to life. It’s not just about the truck; it’s about the journey, the community, and the personal satisfaction of building something truly your own. If you're thinking about starting your own square body project, I highly recommend it – just be prepared for a rewarding, albeit sometimes challenging, adventure!
