Toner: The ordinary glycolic acid 7%

I use this for my underarms, I don't have to use deodorant as much anymore, and as the 1st step in my skincare routine. I love it so much.

Good Molecules - hyaluronic acid Serum

I just got this, and it makes my face feel so smooth!

GlobalBeautyCare - Vitamin C Serum

I got this at the dollar tree, and it's working for me. I would like to get a better quality brand, though.

Good Molecules - wake up eye gel

I got this cause of the hype, but it's brought the color back to my under eyes.

Good Molecules - lightweight daily moisturizer

I use this or

CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion

both leave my face feeling smooth and more alive

just started using the Ordinary lash and brow Serum, I can update you about my experience with results later this week.

then for my lips, I'm using Truly Pinapple Haze Cbd lip butter.

I try to keep my routine short and simple because I have a hard time keeping up with it daily as is. lol.

It's a total game-changer for me, and I wanted to share a bit more about why it's become such a staple, especially for achieving that smooth, fresh feeling right out of bed. When I first heard about using a glycolic acid serum or toner as the very first step, I was a bit hesitant. I'd heard about acids before and was worried it might be too harsh. But trust me, used correctly, it works wonders! Glycolic acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that gently exfoliates the skin, sweeping away dead skin cells. This not only makes your skin feel incredibly smooth to the touch, but it also helps to brighten your complexion and can even help reduce the appearance of fine lines over time. Think of it as preparing a clean canvas! By removing that dull top layer, all your other amazing products, like that hydrating hyaluronic acid serum, soak in better and work more effectively. For me, using it in the morning (always, always, always followed by SPF – that's non-negotiable, especially with AHAs!) helps to literally wake up my skin. If you're new to glycolic acid, my biggest tip is to start slow – maybe 2-3 times a week – to see how your skin reacts. You might feel a slight tingle, which is normal, but it shouldn't be uncomfortable or sting. I've learned that consistency is key, but so is listening to your skin; if it feels irritated, back off for a day or two. You'll usually find glycolic acid in a toner format or a dedicated serum. After my glycolic acid step, I immediately follow up with hydration. That's where a good hyaluronic acid serum comes in. It's like a big drink of water for your skin, replenishing moisture and making my face feel plump and dewy. Then, for that extra glow and to help with any uneven skin tone, a good vitamin C serum is a must. I've been experimenting with different brands, but the brightening effects are always noticeable, giving me that 'lit-from-within' look. And let's not forget the delicate areas! A refreshing eye gel helps to reduce puffiness and bring some life back to tired under-eyes – it's like a mini spa treatment every morning. Finally, I lock all that goodness in with a lightweight daily moisturizer. Whether it's a cream or a lotion, finding one that keeps your skin hydrated without feeling heavy or greasy is crucial. These steps, combined, create a fantastic base for the day, making my skin feel smooth and ready for whatever's next. I also love adding little rituals like my lash and brow serum to encourage growth, and finishing off with a nourishing lip butter to keep my lips soft. These small additions make the routine feel more complete and indulgent. My biggest tip? Don't overcomplicate it! Find a few key products that address your main concerns, like a good exfoliating acid, a hydrator, and a moisturizer, and stick with them.
