Self Care is important

For years, self care felt like a task until I changed my view on it. Self-Care can be simple 5-10 minute things you do to better your health both physically and mentally. As a pregnant mom with a toddler, my to do list feels never ending… literally. Two of my favorite acts of Self-Care I do daily is taking 5 minutes for myself and speaking kindly to myself. Remember you don’t have to do it all. Just pick 1 or 2 ways a day, and it’ll make such a difference. #momselfcare #mommentalhealth #momwellness

Additionally, staying hydrated can have profound effects on both your physical and mental clarity. Make it a habit to drink a full glass of water first thing in the morning. Engaging in screen-free time is vital for reconnecting with yourself and your loved ones. Spend at least 15 minutes away from devices, enjoying quality time with family or immersing yourself in a good book. Most importantly, be gentle with yourself; practice self-compassion and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Self-care isn't an added chore, but a necessary practice that allows you to thrive in your day-to-day life.
