Recent meals I’ve made as a 15 year old!
Mmm these were all super good! #meals 🍽️ #teen #mealsmadeeasy #summerbod #lemon8dairy
As a teenage cook experimenting in the kitchen, I've found that combining fresh, wholesome ingredients with bold flavors really brings excitement to everyday meals. For instance, starting the day with oatmeal mixed with raspberries, strawberries, and chia seeds not only tastes great but also provides sustained energy and fiber to keep you full. One of my favorite lunch ideas is a bowl of rice topped with avocado, crab meat, and a drizzle of spicy mayo. The creamy avocado balances the heat of the spicy mayo, while the crab adds a fresh, protein-packed touch. When I'm out of rice, I sometimes substitute it for Korean beef with the same toppings, and it still turns out delicious. For a quick snack or side, sliced cucumbers, carrots, and lettuce paired with chicken covered in a combination of spicy mayo and sweet chili sauce deliver a refreshing crunch and satisfying spice. These meals are not only easy to prepare but also visually appealing and colorful, which makes eating healthy more enjoyable. Cooking as a teen has taught me the importance of balancing flavors and textures, while keeping the meals simple enough to prepare after school or on weekends. These ideas could help other teens who want to eat well but don't have hours to spend in the kitchen. Plus, incorporating trendy ingredients like chia seeds and spicy mayo keeps me excited about food and encourages me to keep experimenting with new combinations.
