Hey There!

So glad you're here to get to know me better! As you might have seen, I'm Rachael Beverly, and I'm genuinely thrilled to be NEW TO LEMON8! This platform feels like the perfect place for me to share what I'm learning and loving during this exciting 'next season' of my life. For years, my world revolved around raising three amazing kids, and now that they're all adults, I'm finding new passions and rediscovering myself. One of the biggest surprises has been my newfound love for movement – specifically Pilates and Pickleball! Trust me, if you know me, you know exercise wasn't exactly my go-to. But stepping onto the Pilates mat has been a game-changer for my core strength and flexibility. I've been amazed at how even small, precise movements can make such a huge difference in how I feel day-to-day. If you're curious about starting Pilates, I'd love to share some beginner-friendly tips and resources I've found helpful – from finding online classes to simple at-home routines. It’s all about finding what works for your body! Then there's Pickleball – oh, Pickleball! It's quickly become my favorite way to combine fitness with fun and a little friendly competition. I'm definitely still learning the ropes, but the community aspect and the sheer joy of playing have me hooked. It's fantastic for staying active, meeting new people, and just letting loose. I'm planning to share some of my favorite beginner Pickleball drills, what gear I'm loving (and what I'm learning to avoid!), and even some funny moments from the court. Beyond fitness, '@rae_bev' on Lemon8 will be a space for sharing all sorts of insights into navigating life as a mom with adult children – from empty nest adventures to tips for staying connected, and even a peek into my home life, just like the cozy interior you see in my intro post.
