EASTER CANDY: PEEPS EDITION🐥🐣

As someone who’s never been a big fan of Peeps, this taste test was quite the adventure. Peeps have been an Easter staple for years, known for their sugary, marshmallow texture and bright colors, but many people often overlook the wide range of unique flavors available nowadays, especially at budget-friendly stores like Dollar Tree. When I first saw the Cotton Candy-flavored Peeps, I was intrigued by the fun, festive packaging but skeptical about how well the flavor would translate into marshmallow form. It had a mild sweetness but didn’t quite capture the full cotton candy experience. On the other hand, the Dr Pepper-flavored Peeps surprised me since I’m on a Dr Pepper kick recently. The soda-inspired taste was subtle and somewhat confusing—interesting, but I’m not sure it’s a must-have. The Sour Watermelon Peeps are truly a wild card. Their tartness is unlike any traditional Peep I've tried — it’s hard to pin down the flavor exactly, combining sweet and sour in an unexpected way that might be an acquired taste. The Rice Krispy Peeps, blending the classic marshmallow Peep with a crispy texture, caught my attention the most. These brought a nostalgic twist and made me appreciate Peeps in a new way. From my experience, Peeps tend to fall into two camps: either they capture your heart and taste buds or they remain an Easter basket ornament year after year.
