We don’t quit round here patna’
Today was such a magnificent day, I was a little groggy at first. Hopped the shower got as cute as can be, and rode with my cousin, my sister and my titi baby 🥰 We went and looked at apartments. There was one apartment that I really liked, it was a little bit more expensive than the rest of the apartments. Strangely enough, I looked at the reviews and in the first few reviews were all kind of crazy things like potholes robbery with a deadly weapon😵💫 you know the average Duval things🥱, so I wasn’t quite sure if I was going to ask to go see that. We went to an apartment my sister picked first, but they didn’t have any units for us to tour and very little answers for us🙄. Then we went to an apartment My cousin picked, that one was a no even for her. 🙅🏿♀️ It was just kind of dingy. Finally we were going to just go back to the house and they weren’t sure if we were going to look at another one and I yelled out the apartment that I wanted to see. At first because of where we were coming from it seemed as though it was really out-of-the-way, but it was actually only 18 minutes away from my job and nine minutes away from my cousins job. 18 min is a big girl time for my big girl job but technically 18 and 20 minutes is average. My sister‘s job is 18 minutes away as well, we work close. My cousin like the apartment, you can tell almost just as much as we did, I know she was excited but didn’t wanna get too excited, because we were just denied. My sister told the lady she was gonna have to convince my cousin this is a good place to be, even though we know that she knows lol. I absolutely adored everything about the apartment. In my Experience of management I learned to always speak to what you know, she answered every question. She even addressed the renovations as well as updates to the roads and gave us a timeframe. I’m really excited about this, even though last time we got denied. I found out I owed my last apartment complex $42, petty. But I’m gonna go ahead and take care of that so next time we do put an application in it will be for our new home. #lemon8diarychallenge #life #blessed #apartment #lifejourney
Searching for an apartment can be an adventure filled with unexpected twists and turns. It's not just about finding a place to live; it involves weighing your options, evaluating amenities, and considering the neighborhood. Apartment reviews can offer insights that are invaluable, as they often reveal the hidden issues like maintenance problems or safety concerns that aren't apparent during initial visits. In my experience, it's crucial to perform thorough research before making a decision. Besides checking reviews, consider visiting the area at different times to gauge the noise level and overall vibe. Also, don’t hesitate to inquire about recent renovations, which can indicate the landlord's commitment to maintaining the property. When considering distance from your workplace or school, remember that even a 20-minute commute can make a significant difference in your daily routine and overall happiness. Keep your eyes peeled for amenities like public transport options, grocery stores, and recreational spaces, as these can enhance your living experience. Often, less popular neighborhoods offer larger apartments at better prices, so don’t limit your search to trendy areas. In the end, patience and persistence are key. Each visit and inquiry brings you one step closer to your new home. Take your time to find a place that feels right, and remember, it’s completely normal to face setbacks along the way. With a little luck and determination, you'll discover the perfect apartment that meets all your needs!
