AN IMPORTANT UPDATE
I’ve made a post explaining the process of rebranding my name and moving forward that way… so let me explain what has happened.

In the realm of seasoned authors warning to use a pen name, I finally decided to take it up. Initially, I had the same thought to wanting to keep my name tied to my work… however, things took a strange turn once someone got their hands on my poetry book.
I’ve been open and honest about the raw poems in that book and how they grew up with me and I have no thought in editing them to make them better. It’s a piece of me from when I was younger, but that didn’t change the fact of someone getting a hold of them and advancing toward me in a not so good manner. It wasn’t a negative review or simply that they didn’t like it, it was used as a manipulation tactic on their end. Since the poetry was written, I have learned from the past and healed myself, so it stopped where it started and nothing more has been made of it.
With that being said, to further protect myself, I’ll be removing The Art Beneath the Cage from Amazon and Barnes and Noble to fix key parts of the manuscript that has my name/username. The book will be taken down at the end of the month, but I will let you know when it goes back up!
