the shin muscle is SO NEGLECTED! it’s called the tibialis anterior. training it is super easy and has so many benefits:

improves stability and balance

boosts running efficiency

prevents shin splints

enhances ankle mobility

improves jumping ability (along with calves)

it’s a more practical muscle to train rather than aesthetic.

heres how to train it:

find a wall and place your black flat against it. step your feet out about 6 inches-1 foot or so from the wall. lift up your toes with your heel on the ground. it will probably feel WRONG 😂 but that actually means you’re doing it right!

i like to super set these with calf raises! it takes barely any extra time and is a great opportunity to rest in between sets.
