weightloss w/ no motivation - how to push thru ➡️
exercising can help to boost mode and can help reduce depression symptoms. even just 10 minutes of exercise improves energy levels! but what happens when you just can’t?
i’ve had a cloud over my head recently. life just seems kind of grey. and it’s definitely been impacting my energy and motivation levels. i’m trying to lean out my body, but all i want to do is lay in bed all day. that’s all i’ve been ABLE to do.
consistency doesn’t mean being at 100% all the time, it’s doing what you can even when you’re at 0%. some days i can lift weights, some days i cant, some days i can only lift for 15 minutes. sometimes i can walk for 30 minutes, sometimes 15 in incline, and sometimes just for 10.
what matters is showing up. i don’t have to be perfect all the time. but results show up when i show up! if i can only walk for 10 minutes a day, thats still 10 minutes of me showing up. that matters. it’s strength, it’s determination, and that means something to me.
even if you can’t do much, just do what you can! that’s consistency, and it’s powerful 🫶

Consistency in weight loss is crucial, especially when motivation wanes. Experts suggest that just showing up, even for a short time, can build momentum. Exercise not only helps with weight loss but also boosts mood and combats symptoms of depression. When facing a lack of motivation, try breaking your routine into manageable segments—10 minutes of walking or simple strength training can make a difference. Nutrition plays a vital role too. Eating small, balanced meals throughout the day can maintain energy levels and curb cravings. Focus on wholesome foods, including fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. If you're feeling unmotivated, consider meal prepping to simplify nutrition choices. Mindfulness techniques such as journaling or meditating can also help clarify goals and reduce stress. Surround yourself with supportive communities, either online or in person, to stay accountable. Engage with hashtags like #weightlossmotivation and #fitnessmotivation for daily encouragement. Remember, progress is not linear, and it's okay to have off days—what matters is that you keep pushing forward, one step at a time.

This!!! It took me way too long to realize doing what I can and being consistent with that leads to results more than doing too much and then not doing anything for so long.
