Is Wilderness at the Smokies worth visiting? From my recent trip, I can confidently say it absolutely is! We managed to get a fantastic deal for our king balcony suite and water park admission, making our entire weekend less than $400. To me, it felt a little like a tourist trap, especially when considering the additional costs for activities like the mountain coasters and zip-lining on top of the admission fee just to get to the top. I heard from others that it might be better to visit at night when it's lit up, offering a different ambiance. Let's talk food! On our trip, we made sure to try some local spots. Gigi's Cupcakes were an absolute highlight – seriously, SOO MOIST AND TASTY! You have to try them. However, I was a bit disappointed with the food at Blue Moose. It just didn't seem to have any seasoning at all, making it pretty flavorless in my opinion. He really did good for his second road trip, with no potty accidents or meltdowns, even adding a good 30 minutes to our journey (lol!).
