Smell Like A Warm Bakery 🤤
I was in Burlington earlier, shopping around for fragrances and ending up picking Lattafa Angham. (I’ll post about that this weekend!) As I walk up to the cashier counter, she tooka BIG SNIFF and said “OMG! What are you wearing because it smells SOOO good!” I gave her the run down and she literally asked me to write it down for her. And I gladly did ☺️ I got three more compliments walking around the mall after that. This combo is THE TRUTH ‼️‼️
Edit: No, This Is Not An Everyday Thing. This Was Apart Of My Everything Shower Routine, Which Is Only Done Twice A Week! On Regular Days, It’s Just Body Wash, Lotion, Mist And Perfume.

Ever dreamt of smelling like a walking, talking patisserie? Seriously, there’s nothing quite like the comforting, delicious aroma of a warm vanilla bakery to make you feel cozy and get endless compliments. After my last post about my go-to scent combo, so many of you asked for more tips on achieving that perfect gourmand fragrance, especially for everyday wear or special occasions. So, let’s dive deeper into building your ultimate vanilla bakery scent wardrobe! First off, the magic often lies in layering. It’s not just about one perfume; it’s about creating a scent story from shower to spritz. For that rich, warm base, I absolutely swear by starting in the shower. Products like the TREE HUT VANILLA SHEA SUGAR SCRUB are amazing for prepping your skin, leaving it super soft and subtly scented. Follow up with a creamy body wash like the BATH & BODY WORKS WARM VANILLA SUGAR BODY WASH. These really set the stage! Once out of the shower, locking in moisture and scent is key. A lush body lotion is a must. I've been loving the eos WARM BODY LOTION vanilla cashmere for its nourishing oils and subtle, cozy vanilla. Another fantastic option is the classic BATH & BODY WORKS WARM VANILLA SUGAR lotion or even the BEING SOOTHE COMFORT CASHMERE VANILLA Body & Hair Radiance Oil for an extra luxurious touch that seeps into your skin and hair, making the scent linger even longer. Now for the star of the show: the perfumes and mists! For pure, comforting vanilla, the SAND+FOG VANILLA EAU DE PARFUM OIL is a hidden gem. Oils tend to wear closer to the skin and have incredible longevity. If you're looking for something with a hint of chocolatey warmth, Al Rehab Choco Musk is an absolute cult favorite – it’s affordable and truly smells like a delicious hot chocolate with vanilla. And for those who love a more sophisticated, creamy vanilla, Eilish No. 1 by Billie Eilish is surprisingly gourmand and addictive. Don't forget your fine fragrance mists for an extra boost throughout the day! The BATH & BODY WORKS WARM VANILLA SUGAR FINE FRAGRANCE MIST is perfect for refreshing your scent without being too heavy. I often layer this over a more intense perfume for added sweetness and longevity. My top tip for making these scents last? Apply your perfume to pulse points (wrists, neck, behind ears) and lightly mist your hair. The warmth helps diffuse the scent, and hair holds fragrance really well. Plus, always moisturize before applying perfume – hydrated skin holds scent better than dry skin. Crafting your perfect vanilla bakery scent is so much fun. It’s all about experimenting with different products and finding what makes you feel delicious and confident. What are your favorite vanilla or gourmand layering combos? Let me know!
