... Read morePreserving flowers is a beautiful way to keep cherished memories alive, whether they are from a special event or just your garden. One popular method involves using mineral oil and recycled glass bottles, which not only protects the flowers but also enhances their charm. Start by selecting vibrant and fresh blooms. Ensure they are properly dried, as moisture can lead to mold and decay. Placing them in a bottle filled with mineral oil will help maintain their color and structure over time. This method can be an ideal decor element in various spaces, from living rooms to bedrooms. Additionally, consider experimenting with different bottle shapes and sizes to create a unique personal touch. Combining various species of flowers with contrasting colors can add depth to your arrangements. For those interested in eco-friendly crafts, this project utilizes materials that might otherwise be discarded, thus promoting sustainability. Showcase your floral art on shelves or tables, allowing the preserved arrangements to inspire creativity in your home decor. Remember, to enhance the experience, you can visit local flower shops or participate in workshops focused on floral arrangements and preservation techniques. The trend of using dried flowers also resonates with the minimalist aesthetic, appealing to those looking to connect with nature indoors. Explore the vast array of possibilities in flower preservation and let your creativity bloom!

Hi everyone. She used mineral oil. As far as the dried flowers, I have questions myself, lol. It says you could also use dried herbs so I would assume dried flowers like the dried herbs we use..just my guess though lol it’s pretty so it’s worth a try. Also too, I wish I knew this 6yrs ago when I got married.
