The idea of having various sizes and themes for these secondary islands opens up so many creative possibilities. I'm already planning a spooky Halloween-themed island and a charming rustic one. The potential for sharing these unique creations is immense, and I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with. And let's talk about the quality-of-life improvements! The storage upgrades are a lifesaver. My storage was constantly full, especially with all the seasonal items and DIY materials. Now, being able to store up to 9,000 items is just monumental. I can finally hoard all those different tree variations, flowers, and shrubs without guilt. No more agonizing over what to keep or discard! This alone makes the update worth it for me. Also, for those of us who tend to get a little too enthusiastic with our terraforming or furniture placement, Resetti Services are here to save the day! I saw a preview of Resetti clearing entire island areas, removing furniture, flowers, and even custom designs. This is going to be incredibly useful for those big island overhauls where you just want a clean slate without manually deleting everything. It's truly a blessing for ambitious designers like myself. I'm also really intrigued by the new character collaborations. The thought of having iconic characters from The Legend of Zelda and Splatoon visiting my island via amiibo cards is super cool. It adds another layer of collectibility and charm to the game. While I don't have all the amiibo, it's exciting to know these options are there. Finally, the whispers of Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features, like improved resolution and mouse decorating controls, are making me incredibly excited for the future of ACNH. Imagine decorating with even more precision! And a megaphone tool? Yes, please! Up to 12 players on an island would be chaotic in the best possible way. Even if some of these enhancements are for a future console, it shows the commitment to keeping our beloved game fresh and engaging.
