Smell like a Vanilla Clean Girl All Day ✨🌸🍦
Wondering why your smell doesn’t last all day long?? It’s because you’re not LAYERING!
The key to having a long lasting key signature smell is to layer all of your lotions and your perfumes and sticking to one signature smell!
I personally like vanilla during the winter so i centered all my body products around the smell vanilla so im layering and it stays on my skin all day long.
Here’s my routine:
1. Shower
2. Use body scrub with a exfoliate glove
3. Use dove vanilla body wash (or any other wash)
4. Use a body oil, i’m using this one from PINK
5. Use the same smell lotion (i’m using EOS)
6. Time for your perfume! Use your better more expensive perfume sparingly, spray twice on either side of your neck and once on one wrist then dab your wrists together DO NOT RUB!
7. Then take the matching smell body mist and spray as much as you want over your clothes + hair!

Layering fragrances is a game changer when it comes to making your scent last throughout the day. Many people don’t realize that applying different scented products with similar notes can build a stronger, longer-lasting fragrance experience. For example, using a vanilla-scented body scrub, body wash, body oil, lotion, perfume, and mist all together creates a scent “sandwich” that stays vibrant without being overwhelming. In my own routine, I’ve found that choosing complementary products with vanilla and cashmere notes really enhances the warmth and softness of the scent. The Dove vanilla body wash and lotion, combined with a nourishing body oil, set a great base. The final touches are my favorite perfume sprays and a matching body mist, which I lightly spritz on clothes and hair for extended freshness. One tip: avoid rubbing your wrists together after applying perfume. This can break down the scent molecules and reduce their longevity. Instead, gently dab the wrists to blend. Also, keeping your skin moisturized with scented lotions or oils is crucial because dry skin tends not to hold fragrance well. If you want to switch things up seasonally, vanilla is especially comforting in colder months, while fresher floral or fruity scents might feel better in summer. Experiment with layering scents you love to find your perfect signature fragrance. Incorporating these easy layering habits not only boosts your scent’s staying power but also creates a personalized and inviting aroma that feels like an extension of yourself. Whether you’re heading to work, a date, or just relaxing at home, this method ensures you smell deliciously vanilla and clean all day long.
