Face Studies✍️

Hello Beautiful People!🥰

Here’s a look at a couple face studies🤓

Quick update, I’m going to be taking a break from posting. I know, I just returned😅. But I’ve decided moving forward, I want to incorporate more breaks after a couple weeks of consistent posting. This way, I can designate more time to focus on creating the quality of work I know I’m capable of, then return to share it with you all. So, this break will be a lot shorter than the one I just returned from.

If you want to see what I’m up to, I post updates in my IG story, with the exception of Wednesdays and weekends.

I have a lot of cool ideas planned so I’m looking forward to using the time to bring them to life.

Thank you for being patient with me and showing love towards my work! I really appreciate it!🥹🙏💕✨

... Read moreCreating face studies is a vital exercise for digital artists aiming to sharpen their skills in portraiture. From my own experience, focusing on capturing the subtle nuances of facial features, expressions, and contours builds a stronger foundation for more complex artworks. Using tools like Procreate, I find that dedicating short sessions regularly to face studies helps me experiment with shading techniques and color palettes without pressure. Moreover, incorporating planned breaks is a strategy I’ve personally adopted to maintain creativity and prevent burnout. After consistent posting periods, stepping away briefly allows me to reflect on my progress and come back with fresh eyes. It's during these pauses that many of my best ideas form, often leading to improved work quality when I resume. For artists looking to engage with their community during breaks, platforms such as Instagram Stories are excellent for sharing sneak peeks and updates, which keeps your audience connected without the pressure of producing finished pieces every day. This balance has made a noticeable difference in my creative workflow and mental well-being. If you’re interested in digital face studies, consider studying varied facial structures and lighting conditions. Combining observational drawing with digital practice enriches your portfolio and grows your skillset. Remember, patience and consistent practice paired with strategic breaks can elevate your digital artwork significantly, as I’ve learned firsthand.
