Clean + Easy Preschool Craft
Crying that I’m already doing preschool crafts with my baby 🥲 But this is such an easy one and he LOVED it!
I just cut a paper shape, let him help me squeeze some paint on it, placed it in a ziplock bag, and let him squish away! Once he was done, I cut the bag to expose the paint so it could dry quicker. I let it set overnight and it was done!
This is such a fun project, it could honestly be done with any age, babies included!

Engaging young children in creative activities can stimulate their cognitive and motor skill development, making preschool crafts an essential part of early education. This clean and easy preschool craft involves using simple materials like a large ziplock bag, squeezable paint, and paper shapes, which makes it accessible and safe even for babies and toddlers. The process encourages sensory exploration as children squish and move paint around inside the sealed bag, helping to develop tactile awareness without the mess. By placing paint in small dollops on a paper shape and inserting it into the ziplock bag, the child can safely manipulate the colors and shapes, promoting fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Once the child finishes squishing the paint, cutting open the bags on two sides speeds up the drying process, allowing the artwork to be transformed into a keepsake masterpiece. This technique offers a controlled environment where toddlers can experiment with colors and textures without getting paint on themselves or surrounding areas. This method has proven benefits, including enhancing creativity, sensory development, and independent play. Parents and educators often recommend such DIY toddler activities at home or in preschool settings because they are both engaging and easy to prepare. Incorporating this type of craft into your routine also provides quality bonding time and encourages expression through art at an early age. Additionally, it supports development in areas such as concentration, patience, and following simple instructions. Overall, this clean and easy preschool craft is ideal for busy parents looking to introduce artistic experiences to their little ones while maintaining a tidy environment. It is versatile across various ages and adaptable to different themes or holidays by simply changing the paper shapes or paint colors.
